I hope you know how brave it is to consider seeing a therapist. No matter what circumstances led you here, there is freedom on the other side of working through whatever is stopping you from being the person you most want to be.

We all have negative thoughts and untrue stories that hold us back. With the right guidance and support, you can learn skills and develop tools to no longer be weighed down by life’s challenges. You can instead embrace a life you truly value. My primary focus is to create a sense of safety in the counseling room that invites honesty, willingness, and a commitment to new and meaningful life skills.

As we work together, you will learn to:

  1. Find inner healing and contentment to strengthen and clarify your day-to-day behavior and decisions instead of relying on reactions and validation from others to feel whole.
  2. Gain peace, confidence and greater awareness to meaningfully change your relationship with difficult circumstances and psychological pain.
  3. Create a safe space to share your stories and trauma without being defined by them.

I enjoy working with teens and adults experiencing emotional distress like anxiety, depression, poor boundaries and relationship conflict. We will work together to uncover the roots of these emotional problems and help you realign with a life you value. By establishing a safe and honest relationship with yourself, feeling change is possible.

I believe each of us walks through parts of our lives with untapped worth, capabilities, and dreams. While society may suggest that engaging in therapy is an admission of brokenness, weakness, or fault—this couldn’t be further from my experience. Seeing a therapist at various points in your life or on an ongoing basis is completely normal. I believe that even just searching for a therapist suggests that you value your mental and emotional health, care about the quality of your life and believe that change is possible.

I am currently attending Arizona State University to receive my Masters of Social Work. I have four years of experience leading support groups for caregivers and teenagers and am currently accepting new clients. I hope you give yourself the chance to meaningfully improve the quality of your life, no matter what difficulty you face.
