Are you a woman who feels that life is less beautiful than it could be? Do you feel like painful past events will control your entire future? You might even feel hopeless, sad, anxious, and overwhelmed. Perhaps you thought you had put your past behind you. Maybe you thought you had “dealt with things” already, but they keep coming up in your personal relationships and other parts of your life. You are heartsick. You are in pain. You are wondering if you will ever be happy.

Imagine feeling hope again. Hope that you could be happy. Hope for a brighter future. Imagine a life where the past does not control your life anymore. What if you could wake up in the morning and feel peace about the day ahead?

I practice attachment-based therapy. I also practice from a feminist/multicultural model. I am offering telehealth sessions only during this pandemic. I am also LGBTQAI+ affirming and I use the pronouns she/her.

I have a B.A. in Philosophy from Westminster College. I earned my M.Ed. in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Oregon (Go Ducks!). I have been married for 20 years and have two wonderful boys and a terrible sheepadoodle named Martha. When I have some free time, I enjoy traveling—especially to Nordic and Scandinavian countries (I like the cold), taking very long walks, and hanging out with my sisters who are my soulmates.

I consider myself to be a story collector and it is the greatest honor of my life to hear the stories my clients choose to tell. I know that I will oftentimes be the only other person in the world to hear certain stories and I consider that to be sacred work. I am currently accepting new clients. You are welcome here.
